Welcome in the Spring

As the snowdrops peep 
through the hard earth
Spring is in the air
lighting up the flowers
shafts of green leaves
with white hanging heads
Swaying the the breeze
between the showers
and bright blue skies
but just to remind us
a chill wintry wind blows
Winter has not left yet
Buds on the branches
join with the snowdrops
thus encourage spring
to come in dancing
life is so alive
as birds are singing
come and join with us
in the merriment..!


Snowdrops, daffodils and crocuses, with birds singing and warmer days
