This is a poem I wrote as a gift for a fellow poet 

I love writing poems for people to give to others, as they make wonderfully unique gifts.

Christmas 

A season of celebration
and meeting up together 
sharing gifts around the tree
creating memories forever

bright decorations all around
with mistletoes above the door
to catch a loved one unexpected
Christmas cheer and much more

it`s at this time we remember
all those who can not be here
raise a glass to their memory
let`s toast them with a cheer

this verse is sent to wish you well
let`s smile and raise the rafter
may your Christmas be merry
and full of love, joy and laughter
