Hidden in the depths of our local pub
there`s an Art Deco cinema of beauty
this secret is in danger of disappearing
to save it would certainly be our duty
in it`s heyday it was very popular
films entertain the whole community
to lose this would be devastating
we mustn`t miss this opportunity
pocket of history within our midst
crying out to be saved and renovated
so many possibilities come to mind
many activies to be celebrated
leaflets, meetings and strategies
get this campaign up and running
spreading the word that we can win
know this cinema will be stunning!
