Sleep watching

the curves of your body
as you lay there sleeping
watching you at slumber
your safety I'm keeping

to see you there relaxed
wonder what you`re dreaming
as you look so at peace
your radiance beaming

want to curl up with you
protect you from all harms
now you lay snugly here
holding you in my arms

hair limp on the pillow
your skin so soft and sweet
my sweet dear sleeping there
tucked up under the sheet


sleep watching your loved ones....
