Majestic Tree

This majestic tree
noble in its stance
stands the test of time
its bark splitting
twisted and hard
home to many insects
its boughs spread out
as its stands proud
center of its world
changing with the seasons
as life goes on

this old bark
gnarled and knotted with age
cracked and arid
from many dry summers
battered by the storms of winter
eternal in it`existence
unyielding to the weather
it is could talk
the stories it would tell
many secrets it holds
deep within it`s soul

oh majestic tree
may you stand eternally
