Rainbow Roses
Why should my roses
be one single colour ?
let them glow with glory
a kaleidoscope
of many different hues
brightening up the day
Why should my roses
be held to one shade
why be regimental
matching all the rest?
just let them shine through
smiling in the sun
Why shouldn't my flowers
bring a splash of light
into my garden
for the world to see
come see their beauty
my rainbow roses
