Release these Cats

Big cats pacing round and round
in their locked cage domains
a distorted view of the world
through steel bars and chains

Concrete floors that`re so unreal
only a cold man-made space
there`s a sadness in their eyes
nowhere to stretch, pounce or chase

These mighty felines from the wild
should be allowed to roam free
live as Mother Earth intended
to raise their cubs lovingly.!
