Taking control.....

My past shapes my future
it may not have always be good
what doesn't kill me, makes me strong
but now I stand up where I should

Love is a powerful weapon
it can conquer more than the sword
and doesn't leave a blooded scar
as healing is its goal and reward

So I stand here bruised and shaken
and see the future more clearly
head held high for I`m full of hope
surrounded by all I hold dearly

Don't you ever think that you have won
for my own life, I now take command
I am a person in my own right
as I`ll never bow to your demand !
