Why won`t my ink flow?

My pen is shaky
the ink nearly dry
scratching across the lines
I`m just wondering, why?

for strong emotions felt
my heart is pumping fast
though I feel so lonely
this state, I know won`t last

the words just come easy
or is it. I can`t cope
if that is the reason
not to sure there`s any hope

as words are my life line
expression of who I am
and I`m unable to write
then am I just a sham?

this feeling is so strange
I seem to have lost my way
struggling to let it flow
so I`ll rest my pen today
