Day 20  NaPoWriMo Challenge

Today, we were challenged to write a poem that “talks.” What does that mean?  While it isn’t a monologue, it’s largely based in spoken language, interspersed with the speaker/narrator’s own responses and thoughts. Try to write a poem grounded in language as it is spoken. The idea here is to get away from formally “poetic” speech and into the way language tends to work out loud.

My List

Oh my, there`s too much to do
better write a `to do` list!
why can I never find a pen
in the house, when I need one!
1. print off boarding passes.
must check I have enough ink in the printer
oh and find some white card too
2.book somewhere to stay for two nights
it will have to be near the centre ( no car)
and not expensive either
tall order but have to try!
3.....
Did you forget to book somewhere for me to stay too?
Damn!   let`s have a look.
What about this one?
No rooms available!
this one looks okay - wait - there is just one room free
Book it quick or we`ll lose it!    There ..  all done!
3.sort out a lift to the airport (not taking car)
Will Kay take us?
3. Ask kay if she would take us to the airport!
4. passport, cloths, toiletries, reading book
5. anything else lol!
