Write a curtal sonnet developed by Gerard Manley Hopkins - Pied Beauty written in 1877.
Curtal Sonnet has 11 lines and the last line is shorter than the previous 10 lines.

Spring

Mother Nature awakes to brighten up each day

flora and fauna dresses in their best finery

dazzling colours erupting into splendour

trees heavy with scented pink blossom sway

distant buzz of happy bees throughout the scenery

imprinting our heart and mind to this sweet surrender

ponds teeming with tadpoles in the afternoon sun

as an elderly cat snoozes in a quiet sunny spot

while lemonade is found waiting in the shaded area

outside is the place to reside until the day is done

so enjoy the lot!
