NaPoWriMo 2022

Day 4 prompt -  challenged to write a poem... in the form of a poetry prompt. If
 that sounds silly, well maybe it is! But it`s not without precedent.  the poet Mathias Svalina has been writing surrealist prompts - poems for quite a while, posting them on his Instagram.

Poem of the Tree

1 - dream of a quiet place to contemplate

2 - paint its colours on your soul

3 - sit down under the branches of a tree

4 - dip your toes in the waters of life

5 - close your eyes, touch the tree trunk

6 - feel it pulsating life force

7 - pluck its words, see them flow

8 - let the poem take it`s form

9 - flowing water, living tree

10 - quiet place is here in me!
