The end of this Day.......

This day has been a hard one
full of so much hurt and pain
but as the day comes to a close
I know all will be well again

For through this adversity
I can hold my head up high
stand tall and feel proud of myself
and look the world in the eye

Learning how people can react
when confronted by the truth
can be so very hurtful
sometimes you have to be a sleuth

However I will get through this
as I have faith in all that's good
believing that all will work out
Just wanting to be understood

So at the end of this long day
I can put all this behind me
tomorrow will be much better
new dawn, new adventures,  you'll see!
