The New Day.....

Dawn is here, full of light
chirping of birds in the trees
sky full of oranges and reds
smell of cooked bacon on the breeze

For the sun has risen
it's time to make a move, get ready
what will the day bring, we'll see
just have to take it nice and steady

I love the air of mystery
not knowing what will transpire
heading off into the unknown
traveling until the day does expire

This new day has arrived
the promise of a sunny day
what adventure will I have?
so I will be heading on my way
