Dawn of a New Day

That morning anticipation
wondering what the dawn will bring
for skies are turned to orange flames
and dawn chorus is in full swing

The horizon is silhouetted
against a morn that appears on fire
drawing you to get up for the day
never knowing what will transpire

Taking each challenge as it appears
is part of our life's destiny
for our goal is to get through each day
happily and successfully.

With each morn, there's an air of mystery
for no two days are ever the same
it's great to think we have the choice
to make it hectic or very tame!!

Let us look forward to each new dawn
be grateful to see the sun rise
so we can live our lives to the full
and see everything through open eyes
