On dainty purple wings
among the pretty flowers
fluttering so gently
in the breeze for hours
Like a little pixie
delicately perched there
displaying her sweetness
with great beauty and flare
As sweetly she watches
blending into the scene
among the stems and leaves
of pale purples and green
Elegant antenna
that`s a great detector
and a long curled tongue
to retrieve the nectar
Amongst the wild flowers
as hints of sweet perfumes
wafts across the landscape
this pixie in the blooms
