An indoor day......

Huddled up inside the the house
I'm watching as the cloud prowls
it's so dark from this bad storm
for outside the weather howls

Torrential rain beats down hard
lashing against my window pane
the lights are on, it's cosy here
don't think I will go out again

My cat is curled up on my lap
mug of hot chocolate in my hand
why would I go out side today?
When snuggled up here is grand!
