A New Journey.......

Sat here in the morning light
wondering if all this is really right
can't be believe you left last night
now my future seem much more bright

You bullied me for far to long
and snatched away my soul's song
in my life, you did not belong
to gain my soul I must be strong

All that I loved, you took away
through my childhood, I couldn't play
you never let me have my say
from this wreckage, I'll have my day!

So from this new start, I can see
there'll be new beginnings for me
although it will be a long journey
I'm on the road to recovery!!
