Day 19 National Poetry Writing Month 2020

#NaPoWriMo

Prompt -  challenged to write a poem based on  "walking archive"
What`s this you may say!  Well when you go on a walk and gather up interesting things - flower, strange piece of bark or a rock.  Your poem should include one or more of these objects.
Happy writing!

Calming Walk

Sunny bright Sunday morning
my path takes me through the trees
walking amidst their long shadows
an untouchable forest in the breeze

dotted around their texted trunks
little clusters of bluebells stand tall
swaying to nature`s symphony
thankfully out of reach of footfall

picturesque views across the lake
framed by blossom covered trees
a lasting reminder that spring is here
as calming scent puts me at ease.
