Day 24  National Poetry Writing Month 2020

Prompt - write a poem about a fruit that you like.  The poem should describe the fruit, it`s looks, taste, texture etc.

Red luscious rich fruit
An infusion of sweetness
Soft and squishy to the touch
Pulled off its stalk hanging down
Berries chilled, eaten with cream
Each drupelet explodes in the mouth
Rather not drop for they`ll splatter
Refreshing the taste buds
Yummy summery tasty fruit
