My name is Elisabeth

for me a beautiful name

in the old testament

Elishebam, Elisheva 

evolves in to Elisabeth

of Hebrew origin

found in the bible 

meaning "God is my Oath"

"My God is beautiful"

"consecrated of God"

a regal sounding name

that feels queenly

almost luxurious 

I feel honoured 

to be called Elisabeth.
