Prompt - Think about a small habit you`ve picked up from one of your parents, then write a piece that explores an early memory of your parent engaged in that habit before shifting into writing about yourself engaging in that same habit.

My dad was terrified of spiders and sadly so am I!

Spiders

My dad was so afraid of spiders

if one spied, he`d stand on a chair

unsettling sight to see

like dad I`m terrified

running out the room

eight legged freaks

running wild

save me

kids!
