Dawn

Dawn is the awakening of the soul
Birds singing the heart out to impress
The sun peeping over the horizon
Fill the sky with an array of colours
From yellows, oranges to reds
The dawn erupts into our day
Snuffing out the darkness of night
Bathing the landscape in warm light
As the world begins to wake up
A great start to a brand new day
This wakes but mind and body
Refreshes both heart and soul
May there be many more to see
This dawn that awakens my soul


I love watching the dawn as it lights up the horizon, it gives me a good feeling
deep inside me and I just feel reborn for the new day.
